Artist's StatementMy work takes source from the reflective process of my emotional landscapes and engages with feelings related to the lives of those close to me. I take inspiration from the 'dynamic feminine' which represents "undirected movement towards the new, the non-rational, the playful". I like conjuring up things in my mind and working them through... backwards... digging, turning over the humus of experience, adding my compost, going with the process I work with a broad range of materials and media. Currently much of my work is site based. |
